The Rob Roy hotel (renamed The Birdcage in the 1970s), a Freemans Bay landmark dating from 1885, with the old City Destructor smokestack behind the Victoria Park flyover. The reason that the hotel building does not make a good match with its present-day location in this transition is that it was moved (yes, moved) forty metres during the construction of the Victoria Park road tunnel (2010-2012) and returned to a slightly different position.
