This panorama appeared in The New Zealand Graphic of 28 January, 1905 (page 34) on a page showing three pictures of the 'Auckland of To-day'. This was in contrast to page 32, where three old photographs were captioned 'Memories of the Past—Three Views of Old Auckland'. It seems that the Graphic printed this kind of 'then and now' material fairly regularly: see, for example, a treatment of the Auckland waterfront on this site, here.
