The north-west by west component of the Richardson "triptych" seen on the previous gallery page. The Albion Hotel, present in both images (foreground centre), dates from 1873. In the middle distance of the 1921 image is the Western Reclamation, creating Victoria Park and, later, the present-day Wynyard Quarter.
