When James Richardson climbed to the top of the tower in 1921 he took quite a number of shots of the views from each of the tower's four sides. It's unclear whether he intended these pictures to form panoramas when displayed side-by-side as there are often gaps between them, however they can sometimes still manage to convey a panoramic effect, as seen here.
