Looking down Wellesley Street West toward Queen Street from the Albert Street intersection. At far right in the 2026 image is Te Waihorotiu Station, which would, later in that month, be opening for the first time. Both the 1907 and 2026 pictures were made in the month of September (and at the same time of day, 11:40 am, according to the Auckland Public Library—later Art Gallery—clock).
