This Josiah Martin photograph shows a few changes in the Queen Street streetscape compared to the first image in this sequence: a three-storey building has appeared a few doors down from the Union Bank at left (191 Queen Street in the modern numbering scheme), while in the distance, two doors down from the corner of Fort Street, the Mutual Life Association building has appeared; it was completed in December 1887.
